WWW Recommendations: Two perfect time-wasters

First WWW recommendation will take you to the recently super-popular YouTube. No, it’s not a fake 15-year old girl whose video blog will be watched by 30+ males, but instead it’s a about little green alien filled with prejudices towards earth people. Ingenious moments: global earth hymn, too-obvious erection, upside-down gold fish.

Multiuser web game (Ajax+Flash) KDice is something completely different. Either you’ll like it or you’ll hate it. It’s a remake of also perfect DiceWars game. It has an added value though - live enemies. My recommendation: DiceWars for practice, KDice for “the real thing”. :o)

A Brokeback Parliament

A short and not-so-romantic story about heterosexual universe and homosexual conservatives

It is an old and most probably correct assumption that the most homophobic people tend to homosexuality. According to that, most of Croatian parliamentary representatives are homosexual time-bombs counting down to homosexual orgies. Should, according to election results, the minority of tolerant heterosexuals be afraid of loud and ruling aggressive undercover homosexual majority?Many countries in the world, probably lead by the ones we use to consider the most liberal and democratic, can’t face bringing up the law such as the one suggested by independent representative in Croatian parliament Ivo Banac, joint together with Social-Democrat’s Šime Lucin. The law proposal of “registered partnership” tried to define homosexual relations, allowing homosexual couples to be joined into matrimony similar to marriage with all the rights which go with that. For one conservative country such as Croatia, proposal went too far – by it, homosexual couples would be allowed, oh what a sin, to adopt and raise children.
